The Brief
Associated Pallets came to us with a common request — a better website — but what they really needed was a deeper transformation.
Their previous eCommerce platform was showing its age: outdated architecture, limited design flexibility, and a backend dependent on third-party plugins. The customer journey was clunky. Managing multiple trading brands? Even clunkier.
But beyond the tech, their visual identity was also due a rethink. Two brands — Associated Pallets and Plastic Pallets UK — shared a loose connection, but lacked cohesion, clarity and cut-through across digital and physical touchpoints.
Our mission? Rebuild their eCommerce engine and redefine their brand presence. The end goal: A future-proof, unified system — visually and technically — built for scale, clarity, and credibility in the fast-moving logistics sector.
The Solution
We rebuilt Associated Pallets’ digital presence from the ground up — not just in structure, but in style.
On the technical side, we developed a bespoke eCommerce platform using WordPress and Laravel, tailored to support multiple trading brands with a centralised product and order management system. We streamlined the customer journey by simplifying navigation, embedding upsell opportunities, and introducing custom lead forms that connect directly into a live dashboard.
At the same time, we led a full brand refresh, evolving both Associated Pallets and Plastic Pallets UK into a cohesive visual system.
The new identity features bolder, more legible typography, a unified layout style, and a three-bar icon that reflects balance, structure and sustainability — values core to the business.
A deeper, more confident colour palette brings clarity and credibility to both brands, while the integrated “Securing a Sustainable Future” tagline reinforces their forward-thinking, environmentally conscious positioning. Together, these changes have laid a strong foundation for scalable growth — both online and off.
